AsyncView runs one-way (async) video interviews. You set the questions once, each candidate records their answers in the browser when it suits them, and your team watches, rates and decides together. Nobody has to find a time in anyone's calendar.
The five steps
- Create a job. Give it a title and set its status to Published. Interviews can only be created for published jobs. See Create a job.
- Write your questions. Add them straight into the interview, or save them once as a question set to reuse. Each question gets a time limit of 1 to 5 minutes. See Save questions as a question set.
- Invite candidates. Create an interview, pick a deadline and add candidates one by one or paste a list. Each candidate gets a private link by email. See Create an interview.
- Review the answers. You get an email and a notification when a candidate submits. Watch at up to 2×, rate each answer and leave notes for your team. See Review a candidate's answers.
- Decide. Shortlist the people you want to meet and reject the rest. See Shortlist or reject a candidate.
Your dashboard shows a Get started card with the same steps (Create a job, Save a question set, Invite your first candidate) and ticks them off as you go.
See it from the candidate's side
Before you invite anyone, open the practice interview (opens in a new tab). It runs the same device check and recording screen your candidates see, and nothing is recorded or saved.
